This osprey came to us earlier this summer. It's nest was destroyed by a forest fire and it was burned on the legs and had a broken wing. It's not a releasable bird, so it won't get to migrate. It needed a larger mew that was well insulated and heated to stay above 32°F. Hopefully it will become part of our education program.
